Halle Shrum, Macon County High School, is pictured with NCTC CEO Johnny McClanahan. Halle is the recipient of a $2,500 Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) scholarship, sponsored by NCTC.
Halle is one of only 54 recipients across the country to be awarded an FRS scholarship out of 1400 applicants. Halle will attend Volunteer State Community College and plans to then transfer to MTSU to become a registered nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner.
